MAKING A PURCHASE
Our products are available in a number of different
ways :-
MAIL ORDER
Ordering your chocolates, confectionary & hampers direct from our offices is simple. Please let us have details of your requirements by completing the order form, by sending an email or by simply picking up the phone. Your chosen gift can be sent directly to you or delivered to the person who you wish to receive the gift, complete with your special message.
SHOP THROUGH OUR WEB SITE
The full and extensive range of chocolates, confectionary and hampers are to be found at our online shop, open 24 hours a day – pay us a visit at www.cooksofswanton.com. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch and Delta on our secure site.
CORPORATE HAMPERS, GIFTS AND INCENTIVES
Our chocolates, confectionary and hampers are used by numerous companies as staff or client gifts and incentives. If you would like us to create a bespoke gift to meet your specific requirements we will be happy to oblige. We can also personalise boxes of chocolates, provide themed hampers – just one, or hundreds – and we will handle individual distribution if required.
WHOLESALE ACCOUNTS
We supply chocolates, confectionery and hampers to many leading hotels, restaurants, delicatessens, gift shops and florists. We have our own, in-house printing facility so that our wholesale customers may have products personalised if required. Should your business wish to consider stocking Cooks of Swanton products then please contact us and one of our sales team will be only too pleased to discuss your requirements, explain the wholesale price list and highlight the excellent levels of service we offer.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING
We take great care with all our packing, dispatch and delivery. We pride ourselves on a personal and efficient service. Our chocolates are packaged in our unique rigid gift boxes and then into specially designed postal packaging and sent via Royal Mail first class post. Our hampers are dispatched by next day courier. All carriage charges quoted within our price list are for UK mainland delivery. Additional costs for Worldwide or European delivery are available on request.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE
Delivery Schedule We will normally deliver UK orders within two business days . International orders are generally received in under seven days. (Please note that orders taken after 15th December cannot be guaranteed to be delivered in time for Christmas.) Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will contact you by email for your further instructions. We will not accept your order or process any payment for goods that we do not have in stock.

BACK ORDERS
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
TAX CHARGES
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. |
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

COOLING OFF PERIOD
1. Purchases
By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven
working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all of our products except for items containing perishable items (eg: cheese in a hamper with a 'use by' date)
To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, contact us by email at sales@cooksofswanton.com to tell us. Please package the relevant item(s) securely and send it to us at

so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you.
Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand.
For your protection, we would recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us.
As soon as we receive the returned goods in good condition, in their original packaging we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item. |
Cooks of Swanton do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
